24 Poker Has License Suspended

The Kahnawake Gaming Commission has suspended 24 Poker’s gaming license, taking the Microgaming powered poker site off the market.

In a statement released by Microgaming, the company said: “Microgaming today announced that all game play on the 24 Poker website has been blocked due to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission suspending 24 Poker’s gaming license. Both Microgaming and the Kahnawake Gaming Commission have tried without success to contact the 24 Poker Management Team. Further announcements will be made as additional information becomes available.”

24 Poker is owned by BPR Services Limited in the United Kingdom. 24 Poker has been licensed by Kahnawake since 2004, and the site’s gaming license was set to expire at the end of January 2012.

The Kahnawake Gaming Commission also announced that Blue Cactus Enterprises has also had its license revoked for failure to pay fees. The license revocation will affect LiveGambler, and Kong888 gaming sites.
