‘DYBYDX’ wins WCOOP High Roller Event

Unknown Brit takes it down

Yesterday evening marked the beginning of the 2011 PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP), with UK player ‘DYBYDX’ emerging victorious from the $10,300 High Roller event.

After a gruelling 16 hours of play, DYBYDX was the last man standing, pocketing a princely sum of $430k. The real name of the lucky winner is yet to be released.

Runner-up xraypies, also a Brit, met his tournament end when his Q-7o was no match for DYBYDX’s K-4s. We doubt he’ll be too peeved, though – his second place finish meant a nifty bankroll boost of $310k.

Some Team PokerStars Pros to make the money were JP Kelly, who finished 18th ($25k), and former WSOP main event winner Joe Hachem, who came 24th ($20k).

The final table standings are as follows:

1. DYBYDX (UK) – $430,000
